Since its inception, Paalvi has taken great initiative in various social causes like water conservation, tribal welfare, health of women and children and environmental protection. We look forward to inspiring people through our works and help achieve our goal of a better tomorrow.

Environment Protection

Through its VIGNHAHARTA PROJECT, Paalvi is promoting an eco-friendly Ganesha Festival.

From making Ganesha idols from environment friendly and recycled materials to eco-friendly decorations and immersion of idols at home, Paalvi is dedicated to minimising the impact on the environment.

We have screened documentaries produced by us in more than 1500 schools and colleges in Nashik district. We have also reached out to various Mahila Mandals, social organizations and industries to spread our message. Essay-writing and idol-making competitions have been conducted by us at school and college levels to inspire younger minds.

Under the JAL ABHISHEK PROJECT, Paalvi has created awareness regarding the environmental hazards of using plaster-of -paris(PoP).

We have promoted the immersion of PoP Ganesha idols at home using Ammonium Bicarbonate solution. This method has been devised and authenticated by National Chemical Laboratory(NCL), Pune. Last year alone we facilitated the distribution of more than 6000 kgs of Ammonium Bicarbonate powder in collaboration with the NMC.

Water Conservation

Water is an increasingly scarce resource and thus rainwater harvesting has become the need of the hour. We at Paalvi strongly believe in this and hence have undertaken water conservation projects across Nashik.

We financed the desiltation of a reservoir in Rawalgaon Village, Dindori taluka.

This has helped in the increase of the the water storage capacity of the reservoir, ultimately benefitting the farmers of the neighbouring area.

Paalvi has facilitated the construction of 15 Gabion check dams in the village of Belgaon Dhaga, 12 kilometers from Nashik. This feat was achieved with the help of local villagers who contributed with the labour work.

We are also promoting the usage of rainwater harvesting techiniques in indivisual bulidings and bunglows.

Health Programs

Paalvi conducted eye camps in Ashramshalas around Nashik. More than a hundred students benefitted from eye checkups and free medicines. Students with eye problems were handed out free glasses.

Free health checkups were conducted for elderly people in a village near Makhmalabad, Nashik. Various tests like ECG were conducted and free medicines were provided.

A Health Awareness program was conducted for women inmates in the Nashik Road Jail. Guidance related to gynaecological issues was given by professional doctors.

An awareness program related to "Good Touch...Bad Touch" was conducted in a school for blind girls in Satpur MIDC Area. Similar programs were conducted related to hygiene and nutrition of adolescent girls.

Tribal Welfare

We at Paalvi believe Sharing is Caring. Nashik has a large tribal population most of whom are backward and don't get as many opportunities as we do.

With generous help from the citizens of nashik, we conducted various distribution drives giving away toys, clothes, woolens and blankets to tribal Padas in Trimbakeshwar and Harsul.

Cleanliness Drive

In sync with PM Shri Narendra Modi's vision of a clean and green India, Paalvi conducted a Cleanliness Drive at Marine Drive, Godavari riverfront. Bringing together various NGO's like Hausla, Rainbow Foundation, Active NRG and Goonj, we cleaned the entire waterfront area.

Kids, college students and morning walkers actively participated in this drive. An oath of cleanliness was delivered by the well-known athletes Kavita Raut and Anjana Thamke.

Paalvi also installed dustbins in collaboration with the Goonj Foundation along the river-front area as well as in Kalika Mandir.
